Hi, I’m Brie. I'm a busy mom of two boys and founder of Beechwood Beading.  Beading has always been a creative and therapeutic outlet for me. Some of my favorite childhood memories are lazy days of beading with my sister. After becoming a mom, I leaned into the hobby in a bigger way, rediscovering a spark that felt like me again.

Before becoming a mom, I worked in the fashion industry and developed a deep appreciation for thoughtful products and beautiful design details. Once motherhood began, my personal fashion naturally took a back seat. Most days looked like yoga pants and a tee; practical, comfortable, and far from curated. Still, there was one small thing that always helped me feel polished and put together: jewelry.

I grew tired of having to remove my jewelry for the most basic (and essential) parts of everyday life: washing hands, bathing kids, exercising, showering, and sleeping. I wanted pieces I could truly live in.

So I set out to create jewelry designed to be worn 24/7; pieces that are effortless and spark joy every time you catch a glimpse of them. 

I became obsessed with learning about natural gemstones; I was taken by their natural beauty and am in awe of the variations. And I was on a mission to find the best quality gold-filled beads. After three years of testing and refining, Beechwood Beading was born. Our high-quality gold-filled beads are made to resist tarnishing and maintain their luster, so once you put your pieces on, you never have to take them off.
